The material used for 20″ x 20″ CD-5080-HP’s construction is 24-gauge galvanized steel. The door has a double panel with high-temperature glue, while the mounting frame comes with 5/8″ notched knock-over tabs on the inside to provide easy installation.

It has a closed cell neoprene gasketing with dimensions of 1/4″ thick by 1/2″ wide between door and frame and 1/8″ thick by 1/2″ wide between frame and duct. The door panel has a 3″ fiberglass insulation with an R factor of 7.7, compressed into 1″ and a hand-operated self-tightening cam latch.
