• Albion Backer Rod Insertion Tools quickly and accurately set polythylene foam rods in expansion and control joints.
• The tool is adjustable for placing rod at any desired depth up to 1″ deep without puncturing.
• This #640-3 set includes a standard tool #640-5 with 4 depth setting wheels for 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide joints plus a #640-6 corner model (for cove joints) with four depth setting wheels for 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide joints.
• Smooth plastic wheels ensure no puncturing of the rod skin.
• Handle is threaded to accept the tamping blade (included) or a standard extension pole (available separately).
• For setting rod deeper up to 2″ use accessory wheel 640-G20 .
